We have always asked our children what they would like for their birthday meal - eating out or homemade. This year, Sean chose shrimp and noodles seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and parmesan. Yum!!!! We all loved his choice, and better yet, Patrick had it ready to be served when we arrived home from swimming.
