Sean's 10th Birthday

We have always asked our children what they would like for their birthday meal - eating out or homemade. This year, Sean chose shrimp and noodles seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and parmesan. Yum!!!! We all loved his choice, and better yet, Patrick had it ready to be served when we arrived home from swimming. Chow down.
He also chose Peanut Butter Pie as his dessert!!!! This was his main gift, and you can see the shock and excitement written all over his face!!!!!
Marksman in the making!

Just for You

I know black makes one look smaller, but as you can see, I am huge. Everyone is surprised to hear that I still have 5 wks. left to go. I am really starting to feel large, slow, and awkward. At my Dr's appt. this past week, they informed me that our big guy has decided to migrate. Right now, he is lying tranverse and I am anxiously waiting to see where he will go - breech or head down (praying for the latter). No, it is not a basketball!!
Everyone comments that from the back I don't look pregnant. What do you think?
Sean took this one!

Extra, Extra: Read All About It

We interrupt the regular blogging for this special news bulletin...

The rumors are true: Rachel Ramsey is a goddess. We have just received confirmation from an Indian woman in Barbourville, KY. Upon learning that Rachel is the mother of three, soon to be four sons, this clearly insightful woman said that in her country Rachel would be considered a goddess.

We cornered Rachel's husband to ask him for his thoughts. He wasn't surprised at all. According to him, Rachel has always been a goddess because of her stunning beauty. And quite frankly, we would have to agree.

We now return to the regular blogging...

Youth Chorale

This was Sean and Drew's final concert with the choir that they have been a part of for the last several years. Their teacher, Mrs. Laura, is moving and will be sorely missed. Sean is in the first full row to the rear, three from the left.
Drew is in the second row, very last on the right.
Drew, Dr. Chipe, Sean
Aidan wanted to be in the picture also, and considering he sang along with almost every song during the concert, I think that it is appropo. If only he had been old enough to participate as an official member.

Here, Rattler, Here

Happy Mother's Day

My husband and boys really do know me well. Every year they pick the PERFECT card and this time is no exception!!! What could be more dear to this mother's heart than a card which includes not only a representation of my three dear sons, but also my son who will be arriving shortly.

Individually signed by each in their own handwriting.

(This is a treasure for me to enjoy year after year)

I absolutely love dark chocolate, and these are REALLY GOOD!!!

I hope everyone is having/had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Your Aura is Red

You have a high level of emotion. This can mean passion, but it can also mean rage.
Usually, you don't take these emotions out on others. You just use them as motivation - and it works!

The purpose of your life: embracing all the wonders of the life, lots of travels, and tons of adventures

Famous reds include: Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Lopez

Careers for you to try: Dancer, Boxer, Surgeon

Wow, there are so many ideas out there for a post (thanks Sonya). I especially like the ones that let us get to know each other better - a glimpse at the "real" person. Does this color describe me well? I think so!!!

My friend, Tracy, posted this on her blog, and it looks like something fun to participate in what with Mother's Day quickly approaching. Canadians are welcome to be a part of the drawings also - pink/silver Ipod Nano, handmade Mei Tai baby carrier, or "Hannah Keeley's Total Mom Makeover".
