Our Resident 4 Yr. Old

King Asher

He had an ear infection that came on rather suddenly and was completely unrelated to the illness that the other boys had.

And it was reluctant to GO AWAY :(

Asher tends to give the girls at brothers' school a hard time. They speak to him, and he does not acknowledge their presence or runs away. Imagine my surprise one evening when I checked on his whereabouts... in the arms of a girl, and happy ☺

All of my boys have loved stacking duplos as high as they can... Asher too.

Hise ipad apps are paying off as he only needed help with the S. The spelling and the other letters he managed with no assistance. GOOD JOB!

NCSAA Championship Finals

I don't think I have ever been to a game where I felt so "ill". Patrick said that it was because I wanted them to win too badly. He was correct, but it didn't change the way I felt. Being at a Christian tournament, it just didn't feel right to pray against the other team; but I can and did pray for the boys' safety, that they would play their best for God's glory, and that God's will would be done. I know that God knew I was hoping it would end with our boys carrying home the championship title!

 2 Seniors

2 juniors

4 of the STARTING FIVE.

Hands up!

You know just how close and serious this game was, when your realize that only the starting five and 4 coaches are discussing the game/strategy.

This is not the best picture, but it is THE final shot.
The game was won in literally the last 30 seconds or so. We were trailing most of the game... not by much, but trailing.

Sweet victory!

Seniors, friends. teammates.

An Evening Swim

After a long day of games, it was nice for the boys to relax and go for a swim with friends.

Opera...
A heated pool with a broken heater. It was COLD!

Do I even dare?

♥♥♥

Fancy moves

I think they spent more time in this hot shower than the actual pool.

Smell the Roses

Our neighbor brought us over a bag of Paperwhite bulbs. They sat in an Easter bucket for about a month, until one day we had both the time and inclination to complete a project!

These "jewels" have been repurposed time and time again.

I really enjoyed capturing these flowers at different times of the day (lighting - gloomy, sunshiny ☺, snowy) over the course of a month.

It was such fun to watch these grow. Some days they seemed to shoot up 3-5 inches! And once they bloomed, the aroma was amazing, permeating entire rooms!
