F = Friends, Fun, Freezing

Summer is officially here, but I guarantee this water is still freezing. Towards the end of July and the beginning of August, it will warm up just enough to be almost pleasant on a very hot day.

Water fight!

Laughing at the antics of the big boys.

Who can swim the farthest.

Building their ocean pizza... sand crust and periwinkle pepperoni (it is meat after all :)

Any takers?

Race Car

Okay, fine... lawn mower

But to see the boys on it, one could swear they think it is a race car.

Ready, set...

GO!!! He is a speed demon.

Sweet Baby Girl

It must have been her first visit to the feeder...

Thankfully, her dad was taking great care of her.

They Are Boys

A snack... in the guitar case...yes, please.

Stick 'em up!

PPP - A Few More

Almost 12.

Follow the leader.

The Three Musketeers.

Ooops, the littlest one has yet to achieve his tree climbing skills. Kind of surprised, since he seems capable of scaling almost anything.

PPP - Random Scenery

 6 ton Bonaventure Anchor

The top of this wall was lined with small Inukshuk.

It has evolved into a symbol of leadership, cooperation, and the human spirit.

A gull taking a stroll.

Sailor's Memorial

Seemingly out of nowhere and in the space of a few minutes, the fog rolled in and the fog horns sounded.

PPP - The Beach

Anchors Aweigh

A Dad and his youngest son.

Very industrious.

Windblown, watching his brothers down the shoreline.

I turned around to see this - so sweet.

An Inuit Inukshuk large enough to seat 2 boys.

A mite too big, but better than none.

Dipping Their Toes at Dusk

We could dress him in a bathing suit/swim diaper... but there is the walk down the hill and up the road, both directions... and well, it is just much easier to strip him down... because a toddler ALWAYS ends up soaking wet. They go in the farthest, they squat - soaking their little butts, and/or they trip and fall.

Brrrrr!

 Owww, so cold!

Hunting for sea glass.

Dingle Park - The Temple

After the playground, Luke asked if we could visit the "Temple". They were so excited to discover that we could actually go inside and climb to the top.... well, that is until Luke saw the 2 spiral staircases and many flights of steps. He did make it to the top, and bravely descended making sure to stay right by the wall, with his eyes on it, and directly behind me.

The view.

Dingle Park - Classic Boy

Dingle Park - Big Brother Luke

Almost 7 years old.

Sliding together... although Asher made it clear that he wanted to do it himself ("Me do it!")

Needing a little help.

He was very happy to have his big brother hoist him up.
