January - the 5 youngest cousins

Nothing spectacular picture-wise, but I couldn't resist posting a couple of pics of the little ones.Lukie and Charis playing together on the floor.

Aren't they adorable?
Miss Cutie-patootie (Meghan)

Yes, Aidan and Tommy know there are horses down at the barn, but somehow the Granddaddy type is always the best!

January - The aquarium

All 5 of the Gardner kids were able to meet up at our parent's house in January - this doesn't happen often enough. We decided to visit the aquarium; and as it turned out, only the parents and babies/toddlers decided to go. It was weird to leave 3 of my boys behind, but fun!!!!

This is the first tank upon entering the aquarium. Ren and Meghan watched the fish swim along.

The sea turtle really stood out in his tank of red reeds and small, silver fish.

He was quite the show off swimming back and forth, up and down.

A picture can never capture the size and grace of the Beluga whale. In God's providence, I pressed the button just as he exhaled!!!

How to capture both baby and animals in the same picture? And no, I didn't submerge Lukey in the tank with the sea lions. As I was standing there, I realized that Luke's image was reflected in the glass. This is how it turned out, and needless to say, I was quite pleased with the result:)

Mommy, lOOk!!! What is it?

Fresh water fish,

Jellyfish,

Cute or gross?

I love this picture of my parents!!!

February - M&M and the boys

To do or not to do, that is the question?!?

After debating back and forth with myself, I have decided to "back-blog". This means that I will be starting in Jan. '08 and posting everything of interest until I catch back up. I hope you will bear with me and also enjoy all the pics and info.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nana brought a Car cake pan and Railway cake pan all the way from Halifax. The boys had fun baking the cakes with her and then decorating them with icing and all sorts of candy.

Sean chose a sports car,

Drew, a car (not sure what kind),

and Aidan, a train engine!

Aidan, Drew, Grandad (aka Michael), Sean, Luke, and Nana (aka Maria)

You know, M&M:)
