Oh, Poop
Honestly, with 5 boys you would think these type of things take place more often, but they don't... which if probably why it worked so well!
Aidan - the mastermind
Their dad 100% fell for it. He was awesome and got it all cleaned up!
West Park Nature Center
Aidan, Grandad, and I were able to sneak out for a short birdwalk. Even when the birds are quiet, the scenery, company, exercise and fresh air is much appreciated!

Definitely A First
It is something to get used to... your "child" driving away with his brothers in the car and no parent.
But I gotta say, I love having a 3rd reliable driver in the family!!!

Christmas Morning '15
Per tradition:
They open one gift given to them by a brother.
A big, yummy, hot breakfast follows.
My "almost men",
my boys,
and my little guy.
Trying It Out
I sit here blogging today, April 10th (I know, I know. I am WAY behind). It has been snowing sporadically for 3 days. It is COLD and there are patches of snow on the grass and branches.
However, December 25th was a beautiful day, perfect for taking their new bikes for a spin.
He LOVES it!
It will take a little bit for him to adjust to the pedals. Meanwhile, we do a lot of pushing and running while encouraging, "Pedal, pedal, pedal, keep pedalling, pedal faster." Add in the abrupt cessation of forward movement every few seconds, and we are both laughing so hard it is hard to remain upright.
Somewhere in there is a boy of mine ☺

... And to All A Good Night
I love this moment. Everything is ready, and I look forward with great anticipation to the pitter-patter of little feet and the exclamations of great excitement and discovery.

Our Second Christmas
Is that really possible already?
"Stockings hung by the chimney with care"...
don't worry, we added a few more.
Didn't the boys select a fantastic tree even though it was dark?
Nostalgia.
For me it is the little things, the unnoticed, the forgotten, but they remind me of something/someone very special - my Grandma.
The boys love helping me carefully unpack these from amongst the peanuts in their tin.
The Hunt
In search of the perfect tree...
Ummm.... NO!
Searching... or playing?
Found it!
Mission accomplished.
Transformations
This project started as the "Nile River", but it took on a life of its own (no pun intended☺) The final result was a great lesson in the prevention of soil erosion.
Luke - age 8
Asher - age 4
First blossom
First Sweet Pea
It was fun growing and eating our own fresh peas in the off-season.

It Is Never Enough
Never enough time with my sweet nephews and nieces, but I am grateful for every moment I get with each and everyone of them.
Intense competition?
Maybe. All I know for sure is that they were having fun together.
What did I Tell You?
Playing with her cousin.
She is raring to go.

How do you choose?
Closed,
Small,
or full-blown grin?
♥♥♥
Baby Bath
I am pretty sure this was her first time in the sink. We had to keep a close eye on her since she kept slipping, but she seemed to really enjoy it.
Water dripping from her forehead as her hair was rinsed out.
Baby blues
Could she be teething?
There is nothing quite like a fresh, clean baby.
The Star of the Show
Both the "babies" of their respective families.
They seem quite taken with each other.
Luke LOVED holding her.
The oldest and youngest girl cousins.
They really are too cute.
