Finally, a snow day!!!!

How exciting to wake up to a winter wonderland!!!

Can you guess what the first thing was on our agenda today?

School? WRONG!!!

Playing in the snow? Correct:)Aidan SeanDrew Sledding is fun, but climbing up the back hill is hard work. Nothing like a mug of homemade hot chocolate with marshmellows to restore energy and to provide some much-needed heat.

These snow balls travelled all the way around our house, the neighbor's house, and down and up the back hill before coming to rest here - this is one LARGE snowman!!

7 months and counting....

Clouds!!!

As a child, did you ever sit in the grass and gaze at the clouds? Did you see any fantastical shapes - animals, ships, dragons....?

Last week, we had several days of severe weather - wind advisories and tornado watches. Yet, the outdoor temperature was very mild. The boys loved playing in the wind and watching the ever changing cloud formations.

Where to start?

Life has been so busy and I have been MIA for awhile (a month to be exact). I, however, have been keeping up with pictures and ideas to blog, so it is just a matter of finding time and getting it done. Hopefully, I will have many posts ready to publish over the next few days, while at the same time not overwhelming you with our everyday affairs.
