The letter "V" is for...

Visitors

Prickly,

Furry,

and feathered.

Imagine our surprise when we finally went to see "the big bird, the really BIG bird" that Luke told us was in the backyard.

View

Facing inland,

and facing the sea.

"Toddler" egg hunt

Just look at that expression - this is serious business!

1st egg :)

Hey, maybe there are more over there.

Found another one.

Just look at all my eggs!

WTG, big boy!

Yum, yum

Easter Scavenger Hunt 2013

The boys made sure to request that we continue our tradition

(even in Canada ;)

Locations selected and eggs hidden.

Daddy explains the rules:

. 1 egg hidden for each boy at each location

. decipher the clue and find the egg

. return to Daddy for the next clue

All set!

GO!!!

Look at them go... all of them!

Luke preferred BLUE eggs if they were to be found :)

Even though we later hosted a toddler egg hunt for Asher,

Sean was such a good big brother to haul Asher around and let him collect his eggs.

 Found one.

What a good little helper :)

Asher - 19mth.

PEEKABOO!!!!

I think he looks like such a big boy!

He loves playing with his brothers' ipods :)

FUN!

Aidan said that Asher has figured out by himself

how to power it up, slide the unlock bar, play music...

Classic

You give a little boy a vehicular toy with wheels, and they seem to do one of two things:

. push it along while crawling or trotting behind it

. pushing it back and forth while lying on the floor, studying the underside (never quite figured out exactly what they are observing)

More outdoor fun

This wheelbarrow has provide hours of entertainment.

Learning the ropes.

Got it all under control :)

FIRE!!!

Now that got ALL of the boys outside in a hurry :)

Egg crates are an excellent accelerant,

and they don't "explode" like gasoline ;)

Why yes, there are 4 fires.

He knows not to get too close;

however, I think he might need a stick that is a teensy bit shorter ;)

Standing guard.

Ready to put out the flames!
