Happy 1/2 Birthday, Lukey!!!

Wow, time sure does fly by!!!! I think I say this everytime, but I can't believe he is already over half way to his first birthday. So what has he accomplished this month? Once again, he is smiling and laughing more. He is more aware of WHO is holding him. He does not normally cry with strangers; but neither will he smile at them, unless he is in our arms. He is very interested in strings of any type, including hair, and is always finding them on the carpet or under our chairs. Just 2 days ago, he started getting onto his knees and elbows and trying out the whole rocking thing. He has even managed to move backwards this way and forwards by dropping down into an army crawl. He says both Mama and Dada and loves to imitate sounds. His top favorites right now are "squeaking"/"mewling", coughing, and of course "talking." He still loves to nurse and really does NOT like a bottle. He continues to sleep through the night and nurses 4 - 5x per day. We have also experimented with solids - he does not dislike them but neither does he seem to know what to do with them - in and out and in and out....... I guess Mommy's milk is enough for now. Sorry about the picture overload; but come on, I am one proud Mommy and I think he is just tooooooooooooo CUTE!!!!!!Our sleeping angel!Just couldn't pass up those adorable toes:)He loves his puppy "lovie"!!!Two of my favorite men:)Such a sweet boy.These toes sure are yummy.How do I look in Nana's hat?I think I forgot to let him know that he is too little to crawl.Hey, Mom!!!
